Thanks this lazy load plugin is much better, than the one that can be found at wordpress.org plugins directory. You should consider putting yours at the plugin repository, too. Pretty hard to find otherwise.
Thanks Andi. I’ve thought of that, but I really don’t want to get into the plug-in business and everything that goes along with that. I’m just sharing code I’ve developed for my own projects for whatever reason, and if its useful for other people, that’s good, otherwise there are lots of the plug-ins available on the usual channels.
i agree with Andi and what he says. I used before the plugin that is in the wordpress.org directory and it sucks. It broke all my javascript in my template and it didnt load the images in the sidebar.
So i go into google and tryied to activate lazyload without the plugin and i find your page… See the plugin and tryied it It works as it should. No problem till now and no conflict with my other javascript plugins Thats great…
You can share the plugin and put a notice in that like “Its a plugin developed for myself and try it at your own risk. I can’t garanty updates and no support is provided” whatever its your choise but im happy that i find this plugin..
Thanks for the nice words Romeo and I think I might quote your warning notice! However, WordPress are understandably trying to formalize their plug-ins directory and discourage people from submitting casual bits code – although obviously they still are and wordpress.org is over-flowing with all sorts of rubbish. So I’m doing my bit and not adding to the mess.
Works great on all web browsers but has a problem with safari on iPad and iPhone. I really wish there is a fix fix for this, even if I am able to turn it off for mobile browsers, I will be happy
Thank you, great plugin! …and I echo all comments that it is much more useful than the one in the WP directory.
Here is my problem, hopefully someone can offer a suggestion:
My site uses a page full of thumbnails linked to the large image. Today, I added another wonderful plugin (WP-prettyPhoto) which opens the large image in a modal box, rather than the image in a plain browser window. It looks beautiful, BUT if the user has not yet scrolled down to the bottom (so that Lazyloader has already loaded all thumbnails) before clicking one of the thumbnails, lazy loading stops and any images not yet loaded remain grey boxes even when you scroll down.
In short, the action of WP-prettyPhoto on the page cancels further lazy loading on that page. Any suggestions?
I can’t get this to work, I get the message “The plugin does not have a valid header” after install, when I try to activate. Do you know what the problem could be?
Hey Michael your Plugin Works Great and works very smoothly on my site..and here’s another vote..your plugin works better than the one in WP directory..
Thanx Dev

The Lazy Load page has instructions for general web use here. Its pretty simple.
Excellent work and thank you so much for sharing! This plugin works so much better than the previous one I tried from the WordPress plugin directory.
